Carpeted Stair Cleaning in the San Francisco Bay Area

High-traffic stairs deep cleaned, step by step. Starting quote-based.

Carpeted stairs are the highest-traffic textile in the house, and they show it — darkened treads, packed-in grit, and edge lines. We clean stairs step by step: vacuum, pre-treat, agitate, and extract each tread and riser individually so the whole staircase comes back evenly.

Stairs are commonly added to rug or couch appointments. Send a photo of your staircase and we’ll quote it the same day.

How our cleaning process works

Inspect

We inspect the fabric and condition first, so the method matches the material.

Dry vacuum

Dry vacuuming when needed removes loose debris before any moisture touches the fabric.

Pre-treatment

A fabric-safe pre-treatment is applied to loosen soil, body oils, and everyday buildup.

Gentle agitation

We gently agitate only when the fabric can safely handle it.

Rinse & extract

A fabric-safe rinse and extraction lifts out the loosened soil.

Dry passes

Multiple dry passes reduce moisture so drying starts immediately.

Final check

We do a final check and leave you with simple drying guidance.

Honest expectations on stains

Most stains, odors, and everyday buildup improve dramatically with our deep-cleaning process, and furniture comes back looking and smelling fresh. A few older or set-in marks can be stubborn, so we'll always tell you honestly what to expect after we see the fabric.

Drying time

Most upholstery dries within 10–24 hours depending on fabric type, airflow, humidity, cushion thickness, and how much cleaning was needed. Fans and ventilation can help speed up drying.

Common questions
