Salon, Gym & Clinic Upholstery Cleaning in San Rafael

Waiting room seating, treatment chairs and gym benches cleaned properly — perspiration, product and dye residue extracted, not covered up. Covering San Rafael and the surrounding Bay Area.

These are the spaces where customers judge hygiene hardest. People sit down in a waiting room and look at the chair before they look at anything else, and a marked or tired seat undermines everything else you have spent money on.

We cover San Rafael as part of our regular Bay Area service area, so there is no travel surcharge and no minimum contract. Whether it is a single room of seating or a full refit before a reopening, the job is quoted on what is actually there.

The soiling is also specific. Salons deal with dye splashes and styling product; gyms deal with perspiration deep in bench padding, which is an odour problem long before it is a visible one; clinics need seating that looks unambiguously clean. Each of those needs a different treatment, not one generic clean.

What we clean

Waiting & reception seating

The chairs and sofas clients sit in first, where impressions are formed.

Treatment & styling chairs

Salon, barber and treatment seating including vinyl and fabric backs.

Gym benches & padded equipment

Weight benches, machine pads and matted seating that hold perspiration.

Consultation room seating

Softer seating in consult and therapy rooms where discretion matters.

What we treat

Perspiration in padding

Extraction that removes what is held in the foam rather than perfuming the surface.

Hair dye & product splash

Treated by fabric type, with honest expectations on set-in dye.

Visible hygiene standards

Seating that reads as clean to a client, not just technically cleaned.

High-turnover wear

Front seat edges and armrests on chairs used dozens of times a day.

How commercial cleaning works

Walk-through

We look at the actual seating and fabric types on site before quoting, so the price reflects the real job.

Fabric check

Every fabric is checked and spot-tested first — vinyl, contract weave and delicate blends are not treated the same way.

Dry vacuum

Loose debris, crumbs and grit come out before any moisture goes in.

Pre-treatment

A pre-treatment matched to the soiling — degreasing where there is cooking oil, enzyme-based for protein and perspiration.

Agitation

Gentle agitation where the fabric can take it, working the treatment into seams and high-contact areas.

Rinse & extract

Fabric-safe rinse and deep extraction to pull the loosened soil and residue out of the padding.

Dry passes & check

Multiple dry passes to cut drying time, then a final walk-through with you before we leave.

How commercial pricing works

Commercial work is quoted per site rather than off the standard per-item list. The price depends on how many seats there are, the fabric, the condition, and how much access we get — a long banquette run is a different job to twenty separate chairs.

We work on your closed day, early mornings or after your last appointment. Gym equipment is normally handled in sections so the floor stays partly usable.

Send a few photos and a rough count and we will come back with a fixed figure and a realistic time on site. Recurring schedules — quarterly, twice-yearly — are quoted at a lower rate than one-off visits.

Honest expectations

Most commercial soiling improves dramatically, but we will not promise a perfect result on set-in dye, bleach damage or years-old grease. We tell you what we expect to achieve before we start, and we would rather talk you out of a job than take money for a result you will not be happy with.

Drying & downtime

Most commercial upholstery is back in use within a few hours; vinyl and faux leather sooner. We plan the visit around your opening hours so the downtime falls when you are closed, and we will tell you straight if a turnaround is too tight rather than leaving you with damp seating.

Common questions

Yes — San Rafael is inside our regular Bay Area service area and we cover it as standard, with no travel surcharge. We can usually get to you within the same week, and sooner if you have a fixed closure day coming up.

Pricing is the same across our whole service area — commercial work is quoted per site based on seat count, fabric, condition and access rather than a fixed list price. Send photos and a rough count for a firm figure.

No. The aim is neutral, not perfumed — particularly for clinics and treatment rooms where a strong scent is a problem in itself. We extract the residue causing the odour rather than covering it, so what you are left with is simply clean.
